Ministry of Food

Last week, I went with Min to this Japanese restaurant at Bugis Junction. It's called Ministry of Food shortened as MOF. Well, the food was really nice and delicious. But it has quite a poor service as complained by Min. Lol. I have been there twice, the first time with my sec sch frenz. But I find the service ok during my 1st visit. The waiter keep on coming to refill our tea and our food was serve quite fast. Maybe its on a friday evening, and there is alot of people coming in, so that is why the service is fast that day.

But when I go with Min its on a saturday afternoon, it was raining and there is not much people in the restaurant. So I think the waiters juz slack around. Our food was serve slow, and there is no one to help us refill our tea unless we call for them. But even when we try to call the waiters, they will always be out of sight or rushing somewhere else. Well, I think it depends on the time, if we come at a peak hour, maybe the service will be better and they can't be able to slack away >.<

Well enough of those comments..let's get back to food!! Yes the food is nice despite of the service. Min had Tempura bento while I have Char Siew Ramen. We also order dessert which I didn't get a chance to take a shot of it since Min is already popping smoke by that time hahahaa..

SIA A380

On the way to work this morning, I saw a SIA plane which looks like the A380, parking near SATS company. At first, I thought it was the usual SIA plane, cause from far, it looks the normal ones.

So I never really take notice of it. But after I reach my office, my colleague say that he saw the A380 crossing the plane's overhead bridge. He quickly take a few snap shots. Despite of the rain, its not too clear. I ask to transfer the images to me so that I can upload into my blog and show it to everyone.



Looking closer, the A380 has 4 engines. 2 on each side of the wing. Based on what I've heard, A380 is wider than the normal 747.

Tantei Gakuen Q

Tantei Gakuen Q, a japanese live action drama that is adapted from the anime and manga of Detective academy Q. Been watching this drama online at crunchyroll, quite exciting to watch. The actors and actress are so cute as they are so young. Think around the age of 14-15 yrs old.

Storyline from wikipedia:

Detective School Q is the story of a group of young students from Class Q of Dan Detective School (DDS), a prestigious and renowned detective academy founded by Morihiko Dan, the most famous detective in Japan, and the adventures and mysteries they unfold and solve together. They eventually work against Pluto, a mysterious organization which creates almost fool-proof plans that only a handful of detectives can solve.

The live action drama consists of 11 episodes altogether. It is more of a summarized story from the manga. The author of tantei gakuen Q also draws the manga of the famous story The Files of Young Kindachi, 金田一少年之事件簿.

The anime version of Tantei Gakuen Q consists of 45 episodes altogether. Currently also watching online at crunchyroll. ^^

I also like the theme songs from the live action drama. The OP song "Answer" by Flow, and the ED song "Stand by me" by the brillant green.

Chocolat N' Spice

It's NOT donuts fever again! Instead its muffins fever!! Hehe...this muffin shop has been quite popular for a very long time. Just that not much people know about it. Heard from some of my friends who work at Tanjong Pagar area, saying that there is old muffin shop that is quite popular there. Everytime when they go buy it, it will always have a long queue. And its quite cheap too 1 for $1, quite big also ^0^ oishii!


The name of that muffin shop is "Chocolat N' Spice". It is located at Tanjong Pagar Plaza Blk 1. I went in search of that shop on saturday after watching the "HDB tai tai" from channel 8 where they introduce the muffins there. Once I step into the plaza, I could smell the butter flavour of the muffins. Following the smell, I found that shop, there was already a queue but not that long. Maybe I was early cause it still around 10am, woah I could smell the muffins already as they have just been baked fresh from the oven.

When it was finally my turn to order, I immediately order the cheese yogurt muffin since it was the best seller there. Next to order will be chocolate chip, coffee with walnut, blueberry also nice and finally my best muffin the double chocolate woah! There are also some other muffins which I can't afford to buy since I have already buy 10 haha...2 of each kind that I mentioned. Below are the muffins that I have bought. See if you know which muffin flavor is that :)

This is the best seller! The original cheese muffin. With cheese yogurt inside!! Eat it while its freshly baked. Nice delicious!

The blueberry muffin! This muffin is mix with tiny bits of blueberry cream. For me I prefer this kind of taste. As I don't really like alot of blueberry cream in the center which will make me sick of eating that. But this muffin does not. It is really nice to eat with the tiny bits of blueberry mixing in the muffin. Must try!

The coffee with walnut muffin. It smells richly of coffee, best eaten together with a cup of coffee! No wonder my friends working there will always like to eat this as their breakfast!

My all time favourite chocolate chip muffin. I love chocolates! Though have to control myself from the calories :p

Not enough of chocolate? Try the double chocolate muffin! It's shape like a mushroom. You could peel off the top mushroom cap ^^ and eat it, its so crunchy. The inside of the muffin is filled with creamy chocolate cream yums!

This shop opens Mon to Sat. Forgot about the timing but I know they opened quite early! I know on Sat they open from 8.30 - 3pm, while stocks last!! After buying muffins, you could also go to the other shop also recommended by the "HDB tai tai", its the salted egg tarts from taiwan and the 3 in 1 curry puffs! Though I have never try that yet but next time I will go and try! Also buy muffins again oh hee!! Argh no my calories T-T can't control myself!!

Korean online games

Recently, I have been qutie interested in korean online games. Like the MapleStory which is really popular now in singapore and malaysia. I also found some online games like fanta creaon which I have write about it before. Now I found another new online game on the web that really catches my eye because of its cute and beautiful graphics.


Trickster R, a new online game that just come out from korea. I like the graphics and the characters is so cute!!

During the fight with magic powers in the toilet lol, you could see the toilet bowls around. Fighting in the toilet hmm...smelly :p

Woah, they also have a beach map. Playing beach ball, wearing bikinis lol... hmm not really playing but fighting at the beach.

But too bad can't play because its in korea version. Korea has so much online games which not many of them we can play. Unless its popular before they can change into english version.

Donuts Fever Again!!!

It's donut fever again! Went in search of donuts last sunday, this time at plaza singapura. At basement 2, there are new shops opening. Long time haven't been there, saw some new restaurants like taiwan snacks, "tomato" restaurant and etc...

The shop that catch my eye is the donuts shop. It is not donut factory or munchy donuts this time. It is a japanese donut shop called "Missy donut".

Missy donut recently open at Plaza Singapura, is also quite popular among singaporeans. There is already a long queue when I reach there. It's a bit cheaper than the other donut shop, maybe its because of opening offer. Last time when I bought a box of 6 from "munchy", it costs me $6.50, but when I bought it from "missy" it costs me $6. Well 50cents cheaper its better than nothing :P Comparison...I prefer "missy" since its not too sweet and also the donut texture is much more soft and "Q" means crunchy.

There is a limited amount of flavors to choose from. If prefer other flavors will have to wait for a long time, so I just choose from the tray. The white chocolate with kaya filling tastes the best, cause I love kaya!! And the two donuts covered with peanut cream tastes fantastic. Pop it in your mouth and enjoy the creamy peanut. The donut that is covered with sugar topping have apple cinnamon filling and it smells nice. The white chocolate with blueberry filling is so so, if you like blueberry than its ok.

There is also an instruction inside the box. It says its is best eaten when you microwave it. Eat it while its hot ^^. Well, I try heating the peanut cream donut, and it was simply delicious. The peanut cream melts in your mouth and the crispy and crunchy donut produce a "ka chi" sound. Sames goes for the kaya filling. For me I recommend heating the peanut cream and kaya cause its best eaten while hot.

Delicious donuts, I getting fat T-T. But I will not regret ^^ There is still 1 donut shop I haven't conquer yet. "Donut factory" the number 1 donut shop where everybody say its delicious. Everytime when I went there, its always pack with people, long queue. Maybe this time I should find some time to go there and try theirs ^^

Online Games

There is too much online games available in the internet now. The one and most popular online games now will be MapleStory. A fun and online game adventure where you can create your own characters and play in different worlds. Partying with friends, hunting alone and also getting married!! There are introducing even more maps for gamers to explore. Cute monsters, cute characters and even cute pets, making the game more interesting to play.

Recently I also been playing online games such as Diner Dash, Cake mania. Sounds familar? These games are all called PlayFirst Games which requires you to buy the full version. I only play the trial version but it was still interesting to play. There are alot more games like wedding dash, nanny mania, miss management and turbo pizza...This site requires you to sign up before you can play. You can try going to shockwave games to play online there if you don't like signing up. But signing up its free so I will encourage you to try playing at playfirst.


I also found a new game "Fanta Creaon" which is quite popular in korea now. Though there is no english version now so I can't play T-T. But watching the intro video and the pictures makes me want to play it. Hopefully there will be a english version soon. The characters are cute and they can summon monsters to be their partners in helping them killing their enemies. Looks like final fantasy game and also alittle bit like magic cards. They have cards inside which shows you your power, you can use the magic cards to upgrade on your skills. Interesting game T-T but I want an english version!! o.O waiting~~

A drama adapted from the popular manga "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e". In taiwan, there is already a chinese drama called "花樣少年少女" casted by taiwan popular boyband Fahrenheit Wu Zun and Da Dong, and with the popular girlband SHE "Ella". It was a big hit in taiwan when the show started. I also bought the vcd and watch it, and was really hilarious to watch.

And now in japan, there are producing this drama casted by Oguri Shun who acts in Hana yori dango before. It was also a big hit in japan when it started showing on tv. The taiwan version has a total of 16 episodes which I think its only the 1st season. Not sure whether they are going to continue the 2nd season. But in japan version, there is a total of 11 episodes, maybe also the 1st season only. But the plot catches very fast ahead of the manga and they also added some extra scenes to it. But it was still hilarious to watch since it has much more funny reactions and more handsome guyz!!

Donuts Fever!!

It's been the latest trend nowadays in the food industry to eat donuts! 10 years back, the US introduce the new donuts by the name called "Dunkin Donuts". At that time, not much people love it or buy it. In Singapore there are a few donut shop and not alot of people buy. It's cheaper than what it is now.

Since there is no profit from selling dunkin donuts in singapore, all the shops are closed. And now in 2007, the local introduce a brand new donut which is freshly fried and sell at the same time. It's called "Donut factory". It's been quite popular now since its first opening in raffles place shopping centre. Everytime when I went through there, there is sure to be alot of people queuing up. Mostly teenagers. When I asked some of my friends who buy before, they have to wait up to 2 hours for it. Now with the popular demand, it open its 2nd shop in suntec city, where it also serves dining in. But its still alot of people and I felt sian after looking at the queue.

Is it that delicious and worth the time to buy the donuts? I can see from the shape and size that it is much smaller than the US donut. Judging by the size, dunkin donuts is much bigger. I think its maybe because of the filling inside and also because it is freshly fried. Although I haven't try donuts factory before, there is a new donut shop competing with them. It's called the "Munchy donut". It first opened its first shop at Vivocity, there I saw alot of people queuing up too but not as much as the people queuing in raffles place. Now there is a 2nd shop at Causeway point, which I happen to pass by yesterday afternoon to take a look.

The impatient me will not be able to queue up to buy donuts from donut factory, so after seeing the new opening of munchy donut at causeway point, I was curious to buy and try it. There's was not much people queuing up so I was wondering is it not the same as donut factory which I had also never try before. So I just buy it from munchy, a box of 6 donuts. Plenty to choose from, it costs me $6.50 for a box of 6. Pretty expensive judging by the size of the donuts T-T...But after taking a bit, I find it delicious. I try the chocolate peanut with almond, the outer layer is filled with chocolate and almond, the filling is delicious rich creamy peanut, which leaves my teeth all with chocolate and peanut stains haa~ But the weak point is, it melts too fast haha, I have to faster buy and go back home to put in the fridge.

Next time I should try my luck and go to donut factory to try their donuts. But will the impatient me manage to buy from them? Haa I will see then ~although I don't think I will be going there since I am lazy >.<

I bought 6, ate 2 of them with my mum on the way home >.< It's abit unpleasant looking since it alreadi starting to melt, but I leaving it like that :p The ring donut in the center is said to be the popular donut of them, its covered with oreo cookies. Well eat once in a while its ok, but don't eat too much, its FATTENING. Girls who are trying hard to slim down like me should not eat, but I ignore :P haa eat once a while its ok *convincing myself ;p

Transformers

Transformers, a movie about machines battle with each other. It's an action pack movie filled with fighting and shooting. I saw the trailer and will love to watch it!! My relatives went to korea and they are lucky because they happen to saw the actors from transformers. They are holding a reporter session for reporters. Not sure its only for their country or the whole world. In truth, outsiders are not allowed to take photos in, but my brave relative went and squeeze through the people and taken some photos of the actors.

One of the transformers, in fact there is only one transformer statue there and that is the yellow transformer called "bumble bee". My relative say they can't get a good shot of the machine as there is a lot of people there, in fact there are some strangers in the photo which you can just ignore them haha...

KOREA FEVER

Have you ever seen an animal that is born by lion and tiger? Lion + Tiger = Teacher?? Haha, when you try to combine lion and tiger, the baby that is born is call teacher? Try to say it in chinese and you will understand what I'm trying to say!

One of my relatives went to korea for hoilday and have taken some of the photos below of the animal that is born by lion and tiger genes.

The grown up of the animal is more obvious. You can see the stripes on the body which resembles the tiger, but the color of the skin is more to the lion's.

Accessories is one of the famous things that are liked by ladies. They are sparkling and beautiful when shine in the light. All the accessories are hand-made by the local koreans which made them more precious and delicate.

A blue flower earring that my relative gave to me. It is hand-made by the local koreans. The handcraft was so well made and the flowers look so sparkling.

I find this picture cute so I put it in hehe... The statue toy there is a character of a well-known game in korea. Its a baseball game as you can see from the character dressing. By the way, the handsome model kid posing beside the statue is my little cousin. Hahaha!!

Everland is one of korea amusement park. At night, there have a carnival, and you can see the flower cars sparkling in the night. This is one my favourite pictures among the flower cars. A train that is so well made that it looks like the real one! They say the train even horns and puff smoke too!!

What is most beautiful in korea? Of course its their red rose!! The rose its the size of one's hand!! And it smell so nice that its like a perfume!! When you see it, you could drip your saliva as it looks so delicious and delicate too!

Yokosho Cafe Bonheur

"幸福喫茶3丁目" 簡單來說這是一部很歡樂的漫畫，雖然還是有戀愛的味道，但是一些搞笑的部份可以讓人忽視戀愛的部份啊（聽你在屁）:p

首先，女主角，高村潤，身高只有一五四公分的高二學生，是個一開始以為母親再嫁後會讓自己為新父親以及母親感情不好，而自願搬出家裡，在路上看到有人從bonheur走出來後露出的幸福微笑，而毅然決然跑到bonheur打工的神力少女。

進藤，20歲，bonheur的主廚，店內所有甜點都是由他一手包辦，是個面惡心惡，表裡如一的傢伙，卻也是個一害羞之後就會變得很可愛的人，個性暴臊，有個自己很厭惡的名字，其實那名字卻還滿不錯聽的說XD

西川一郎，在知名升學高中留級中的高三生，有一肚子餓就會昏睡的怪癖，個性不錯，不過和進藤一樣常常板著一張臉，感覺就像是個會一臉冷漠的狠狠吐人槽的狠角色。

一切的故事就這樣發生在蛋糕店bonheur。

Bambino!

Due to some errors in my antique internet explorer browser, I am having problems with viewing the text toolbars in the blog. Now after switching it to a new browser which is Mozilla Firefox, I have no problems in viewing the toolbars. It also have a faster speed in loading the images and other scripts expecially javascripts. It's a better browser than internet explorer and I recommended to all users who haven't switch to firefox.

Well back to my story, I have been watching this latest japanese drama "Bambino!" which is act by Matsumoto Jun from this popular boyband from japan called "Arashi". I love their songs especially the song from Hana Yori Dango also act by Matsumoto Jun. Songs like "Wish" and "Love so sweet" are theme songs from the 1st and 2nd season of Hana Yori Dango. Been watching this series since my friend recommended me. Nodame Cantabile is based on a comic book and it is now in live action series as well as in anime. I watch both the version which is really funny and hilarious. The story follows closely with the manga and the anime which is really nice to watch.

Nodame chan which is the actress Ueno Juri is really cute and she has a funny character. But the best part I like is Chiaki!! Which is the actor Tamaki Hiroshi. He is really awesome and cool. He's really funny in the show and I really like him alot!! xD drools~

Life is Reality

Life is reality. Why I say so its because I felt that people are reality human beings. Once you are of no used to them, they will find certain excuses to avoid you. My current situation is like this. I think friends are not really friends to me. Sometimes I think they just want to use me because I am useful to them in schoolwork and etc... When out of the school, they will try to tell you alot of reasons to avoid meeting you. Sometimes I felt lonely and sad when I heard them saying this. Is it I'm too close to them or I'm a disturbance. I don't know. I never pester them like msging them and calling them everyday. Just once in a while I say wanna go out just once, but sadly the tone and attitude they give me breaks my heart. I felt lonely and upset. I don't feel any true friends around me..It's like all the friends that I have known are just merely school mates not even friends... I am just a tool to them. When a tool is broken or of no use, you can just simply throw it away.

Sad but there is no choice for me and I also do not have the time to get moody over this things. The coldness they give me, I want to forget it. Are friends just a merely existence, I do not know the answer. Once I have try to contact a few friends, planning to go out when we have not meet for so long, but all I could get is a no reply or "I'm busy" I'm busy too but I still leave some time free for friends but I was wrong. Some even give me the tone like they don't feel like going out with me. Why so? Even when we have graduate, aren't we still friends? So now I have decided that if they do not want to contact me or anything, I will not contact them myself. I don't want to face any coldness again. Its really upset to see this, for people who have not experience this before you will not know how I feel. For now, I just want to focus on my career, I have decided to earn money and live the way I want to be.

Another Day~

My exams are over. It's time to look for a job. I'm still trying to search for the website, classifieds and calling up the agencies. Desperate to find a job~~ I want $ I nid savings!! My bank account is almost broke. And my purse is getting thinner and thinner...Lucky for some earnings from the new year, I can still survive for another week..I realli have to find a job by next week. Or else I going to burst soon when walking along the shopping malls, looking at the clothes and accessories.

I watch the pursuit of happyness which is a very touching story. Will smith and his own son act in this movie which is inspired by a true story. I felt motivated by this story as the main actor did not give up looking for a job to raise his son. He takes alot of risks along the way but he did not give up until he gets the job. I think this is a great movie to keep people motivated.

Haa its new year time! And this year its a pig year!! It's been a long time since I blogged. Have been studying and working hard for my final year projects and exams. But veriii soon I going to graduate!! Just a week more, after I have finish my last exam next week, I will be free! Hmm actuali not veri free coz I have to start looking for a job! T-T No idea what job should I take but hopefully I could get a job! Mada ne!
